Gone are the days when a bathroom was just a place for taking care of personal needs. Most holiday resorts now are looking into ways of incorporating glamour into this space.
With the growing popularity of spa treatments, more and more hoteliers are creating spa-inspired restroom designs. Their establishments boast of huge bathrooms that occupy almost fifty percent of the entire bedroom size. Now to make them look and feel like an oasis for rejuvenation, ordinary showers have been replaced with heads where water comes out like rainfall. Fountain faucets are set in place and bathtub platforms are now lined with smooth pebbles.
Lighting has also been improved to give the lavatory a soothing and relaxing appeal. With the right fixture, any space can have an aura of sophistication and elegance. Of course, mirrors are still in place as these are essential to the space itself and the needs of its occupants.
Other accommodations have a theme for their bathrooms. Depending on the style of the lodging, the lavatory can be created accordingly. If the inn has a futuristic concept, for instance, this area can be made to appear like the interiors of a spaceship.
Now if you happen to be a traveller staying in such lodgings, then you would know why hotel bathrooms can make a statement. If your shower area entices you to spend a great deal of your vacation in it, then it probably has an excellent design. And if you think the bathroom is heavenly, then the designers of that bed and breakfast probably made the best choice when it comes to bath structures.
